eeSouth African electronic producer NerdFND links up with DT.MO on “Koko Ke Tribe,” the opening track from his five-song Amapiano EP titled MMINFE, released on June 26, 2026.
The EP title tells you everything you need to know about NerdFND’s mindset right now. MMINFE stands for “My Music Is Not For Everyone,” and that kind of confidence either excites people or pushes them away.
For fans who follow South Africa’s underground dance scene closely, however, it reads like a direct invitation.
“Koko Ke Tribe” sits at the top of the MMINFE tracklist for a reason. It anchors the project’s identity before anything else plays. DT.MO brings the vocal energy needed to hold the record together, while NerdFND’s sound design keeps the focus on atmosphere over formula.
The result feels less like a commercial Amapiano release and more like something built specifically for packed dance floors and outdoor festival stages.
NerdFND also has history with the collaborative format. His earlier EP Tribe IGAGASI, released with South Plxya, showed an artist who thinks in projects rather than individual singles.
MMINFE continues that approach, also featuring Loony Q, South Plxya, and Iconic Keyz across the remaining four tracks.
“Koko Ke Tribe” works well as an entry point because it sets the mood without giving everything away.
