Zimbabwean Zimdancehall star Nutty O delivers “Tiribho,” the latest single from his “Different Root” album licensed through 925 Talent Agency and Ditto Music.
The record sits comfortably within the “Different Root” project’s sonic identity – warm Afrosounds production that blends dancehall rhythms with contemporary African textures. At two minutes and forty-nine seconds, Nutty O says what needs to be said and steps back. That brevity reflects his instinct as a songwriter. He has never needed long runtimes to make a record stick.
“Tiribho” arrived with a visualiser on August 28 – just days before the “Ma1” official video with Kinnah dropped on September 1. So the back-to-back rollout confirms Nutty O is in one of his most active release stretches of 2026. He has not slowed down across the year – “Pane Acha Chema,” “Wakabaka,” “Mercy,” and “Mazvita” all landed before this single, each adding a different dimension to the “Different Root” album campaign.
His credentials also give every 2026 release added context. The “Mustard Seed” album crossed two million streams and earned him three Zimbabwe Music Awards and two National Arts Merit Awards in 2022. He became the first Zimbabwean artist featured on DJ Edu’s Destination Africa on BBC Radio 1Xtra. But Nutty O has never coasted on those achievements. Each year he keeps building.
The 11,600 Audiomack plays on “Tiribho” in just days shows the audience is already following this campaign closely.
