Sony Music West Africa’s Onos links up with gospel highlife minister Bidemi Olaoba on “You Have Done Me Well,” produced by Kaydee Numbere.

The combination brings together two very different but complementary gospel voices. Onos operates in the contemporary worship lane – her Sony Music signing in November 2024 made her the first gospel artist in Nigeria on the label.

But Bidemi Olaoba carries a distinctly different flavour – Gospel Highlife sung in a Fuji style, rooted deeply in Yoruba worship tradition. So the record holds two expressions of Nigerian Christian music in the same space without either side compromising who they are.

The concept is pure gratitude. “You Have Done Me Well” looks back at God’s faithfulness – the blessings, the protection, and the love that kept showing up through every season. But Onos and Bidemi Olaoba do not make it a backward-looking record.

The praise has an energy and forward momentum that keeps the song joyful rather than just reflective. Because thanksgiving that only looks back quickly loses its vitality. This one stays alive throughout.

Kaydee Numbere’s production gives the record a polished but warm foundation. So the arrangement supports both artists’ vocal styles without forcing either into a genre they do not naturally inhabit.

The record also adds to an already strong 2026 ministry output for both artists. Bidemi Olaoba’s consistent releases through Olaoba Entertainment and Onos’s growing Sony-backed catalogue are both building real audiences who show up for everything they drop.
