The production is polished and emotionally layered. Pheelz builds a beat that feels like a conclusion — warm, reflective, and carrying the weight of everything that came before it on the EP. Meanwhile the melody running through the instrumental gives the record a bittersweet quality that suits the “I’m Okay” theme perfectly.
Rii delivers with the consistency she has maintained across the entire project. Her vocal performance here feels more emotionally charged than some of her earlier contributions and that extra layer of feeling makes sense given the closing position of the record within the EP.
Tiwa Savage arrives and does exactly what a feature of her calibre should do. Her presence elevates the record immediately and she brings a maturity and vocal richness to “I’m Okay” that gives the song its final and most powerful emotional dimension. The combination of her voice alongside Rii creates something genuinely beautiful.
Although the title suggests contentment the song carries a deeper emotional complexity beneath the surface. It is the kind of record that sounds different depending on what you have been through personally.
