After two slow, reflective cuts, this one shifts the mood a little. “BOHLALE” means wisdom, and Sannere treats the theme with more energy than the last two records carried. It still fits within that same Afro soul lane, but the tempo picks up here.
The production brings in a warmer bassline this time, paired with hand percussion that gives the track some bounce. Light guitar strums drift in and out through the verses. It’s a fuller sound than “HAKE TLETLEBE,” yet it never loses that same unhurried feel.
Sannere’s vocals sit more confidently in the pocket on this one. The delivery feels looser, almost conversational, though the control from earlier records is still there. A few ad-libs slip in toward the bridge, and they land naturally instead of feeling forced.
The lyrics move away from personal longing toward something closer to advice, almost like an elder speaking through song. There’s a proverb-like quality to certain lines that gives the record weight beyond the melody. Sannere doesn’t overexplain the message either, which keeps it grounded.
