Mosotho rapper Sannere just dropped a 30-track album, and “Ha Kea Ts’oha Nna” sits early in the tracklist as track three.
Pha Balimo 2 landed August 19, 2026, across every major streaming platform. It’s a substantial body of work by any standard, and “Ha Kea Ts’oha Nna” runs a tight 3:10 – shorter than most of what surrounds it, with no featured guest credited. That puts it in the same solo category as “Sekhoa Lumela” later on the album, though the two sit in very different spots in the sequencing. This one comes right after the opener “Metjoli” and “Nna Mang,” before the record settles into its longer, more collaborative stretch.
Sannere’s sound gets tagged Sotho hop – Famo storytelling traditions pushed through a modern hip hop frame. Pha Balimo, the album’s title, translates roughly to an offering to the ancestors, and that idea runs through the whole project: identity, spiritual guidance, resilience, the texture of everyday Basotho life. Not new territory for him. He worked the same ground on 2024’s original Pha Balimo and 2025’s Sehopotso.
He didn’t oversell any of it either. The whole announcement was one Instagram caption: “Pha Balimo 2 album out now.” No countdown, no rollout campaign. Just the music.
Sannere Ha Kea Ts’oha Nna won’t be the loudest thing on the record, and it isn’t trying to be. It’s one voice doing its job early in a much larger structure – 30 songs deep, still rooted in the same well he’s been drawing from for two years running.
