Tanzanian Seventh-day Adventist gospel choir The Light Bearers Tz urges believers to leave the past behind on “Tembea Nuruni.”

The title means “Walk in the Light” in Swahili. The single arrived on October 7, 2026, with a video premiere on YouTube that same afternoon. JCB Studioz handled the audio and video production, and the song runs about four and a half minutes.

Its message is about a fresh start. The choir tells listeners to step out of darkness, drop old mistakes, and keep moving with faith. Past failures, the song argues, do not have to decide the future. So it works as a gentle push for anyone who feels stuck.

The credits show a tight team. Agape Adonias wrote and composed the song, while Fred Kirya serves as music director. Josh, known as Josh Shot It, directed the video. This keeps the choir’s own circle in charge of the words, the sound, and the visuals.

“Tembea Nuruni” also follows a steady 2026 run. “Itazame Dunia” came in June, and the choir has since added “Tangu Zamani” and “Mwalimu Mwema.” Based in Dar es Salaam, The Light Bearers Tz keep a regular release pace, which keeps their audience engaged.
