Nigerian street-pop act TIA pulls in Ruhdee for “W’S,” and the pair keep things tight. Two voices, one hook, no crowding.
It’s another link-up in TIA’s 2026 run. April’s “Banger” with BhadBoi OML came first, so he’s clearly comfortable sharing a track. Ruhdee’s had a busy year too. He’s been dropping records nonstop, which makes this pairing feel natural.
The arrangement puts the vocals up front. There’s no heavy layering to hide behind. A repeating hook holds the song together, and it’s the part you’ll catch yourself humming.
TIA takes his section with that easy street-pop swing he’s known for. He doesn’t push. Ruhdee follows with his own energy, and the handoff stays smooth. Neither one tries to outshine the other.
Details on the lyrics are still thin. Going by the title and the mood, it’s a wins-and-flex kind of record. Nothing complicated, just confidence and rhythm.
That’s fine. Some songs don’t need a story. This one wants you nodding along, and it gets that done quickly.
Fans of Afrosounds and street-pop should slot it into a weekend playlist. Both artists also gain a bit of each other’s audience, which is smart business.
