Young Stunna and Kabza De Small bring Focalistic and Djy Vino onto “Umlenze,” a 6:13 Amapiano track from “Busisiwe.”
The song sits at track 11 on the 16-song album, between “Umshini” and “Amasosha.” That placement gives the late-middle of the project a solid stretch of party energy. Lethabo Sebetso co-wrote it with Sandile Msimango, the artist’s real name. The writing credits show a small team, and the mood stays focused. Early write-ups say little about the lyrics, so the cast and the long runtime tell most of the story.
The pairing of Kabza De Small and Focalistic has a long history. They worked together on “Dust” from Kabza’s 2020 album “I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet & Dust,” a 5:42 track that helped define Pretoria’s Pitori rap-meets-piano sound. Focalistic returns here, and he also appears on the next song, “Amasosha,” with Mbuzi and Toss. So his voice runs through the album’s back half like a thread. Djy Vino adds the production-minded energy that has marked his own run this year, including the “I AM” album.
Young Stunna stays in the middle with his smooth Zulu vocals, and the guests answer him from different angles. That structure is a classic Piano Hub style: a patient groove, a lead singer, and rap verses that arrive like guests at a party. The track is long enough for DJs to blend in and out without rushing.
For fans of Amapiano with a Pretoria rap edge, this one is a clear highlight of the second half.
Move your feet to “Umlenze” and tell us – which guest owns the dancefloor, Focalistic or Djy Vino?
