Just days after “Into My Eyes,” DjY Mow Sa is back with another release. This time he brings the full circle together on “Busa,” featuring Vibekulture Sa, Jayy Scott, Lethabile 012, and Pop Diller.
Five voices on one record is ambitious. But everyone here already has shared history. DjY Mow Sa and Vibekulture Sa have been working together since “Mow’Vibe” and “Rambo.” Also, Jayy Scott has crossed paths with both through records like “S4D” and “New Wave.” Lethabile 012 appeared on “NAZOKE” with DjY Mow Sa previously. So the chemistry across all five was already established before anyone pressed record.
Released through Sixxtune Africa, “Busa” moves in that deep underground Amapiano space the whole collective operates within. Pop Diller rounds out the lineup as the newest voice in the mix, adding something fresh alongside familiar energy.
What keeps a five-person collaboration from falling apart is usually how clearly each contributor understands their role. Everyone here does exactly that. No one steps out of their lane.
