Released April 28 via Di Genius Production and ONErpm, Valiant rides the Hill and Gully Riddim on “Woii,” and it has already crossed 790,000 plays on Audiomack alone.

Di Genius built the riddim and also produced the record, which gives “Woii” a tighter creative connection between artist and producer than most dancehall singles carry. Stephen McGregor and Raheem Bowes co-wrote the song, so the craft behind it goes deeper than a quick studio session.

At two minutes and thirty-six seconds, Valiant wastes nothing. He goes straight into the groove, talking about a woman moving with full confidence on the dancefloor and the effect that has. The Jamaican patois flows naturally throughout, with the hook landing around the 45-second mark where most listeners keep rewinding according to Shazam data.

Also, the Hill and Gully Riddim gives “Woii” that classic, lively dancehall bounce that old school fans recognise while still sounding current enough for newer audiences. Valiant has been consistent across singles like “Expensive,” “Narcissistic,” and “Mad Out” this year. But “Woii” feels like one of his catchiest hooks of 2026 so far.

Caribbean dancehall fans already know this one. Everyone else should catch up quickly.
