Benin City street act Famous Pluto keeps his birthday project moving with the second cut, “Fast and Furious.”

The title fits the mood perfectly. This is Famous Pluto looking back at the hustle that came before his breakthrough, but doing so with a grin instead of a heavy hand. He talks about the pace of change since money and recognition arrived, and how even small daily inconveniences now feel like proof of how far he has come.

That contrast is what gives “Fast and Furious” its personality. Pluto does not turn the record into a victory lap. Instead, he lets humour carry the weight, so the flex never feels forced. He is aware that success brings new pressure, and that awareness keeps the record honest rather than boastful.

Sonically, this one leans into the same energetic, street-rooted Afrobeats sound that carried “Na Scra” to No. 3 on Apple Music Nigeria. But where that record introduced him, “Fast and Furious” shows an artist adjusting to a life he is still getting used to. As part of the three-track “On My Birthday” project, it adds another layer to a short but purposeful release.

Stream “Fast and Furious” and tell us in the comments – has fame moved just as fast for you as it has for Pluto?
