South African Gqom duo Woza Bakzin and GoldMax join forces with Naitor and Assiye Bongzin on new single “Isgxivizo.”
The collaboration comes amid a busy run of releases for the duo in 2026, with “Igxivizo” coming thru Afrotainment and several other tracks coming with Woza Bakzin, GoldMax and members of the South African Gqom scene.
Having featured together on previous releases, Naitor and Assiye Bongzin are household names around the Woza Bakzin and GoldMax circle. They have collaborated before on songs such as “Amashubheshu”. Woza Bakzin and GoldMax have also worked with both artists on other Gqom records.
“Isgxivizo” is squarely on the dance side of the South African scene, with Beatport listing the record at 125 BPM in E-flat minor.
With Woza Bakzin, GoldMax, Naitor and Assiye Bongzin all at the top for the same record, “Isgxivizo” adds to the current Gqom wave with yet another collab moment.
