KiDi finally delivers his third studio album, “Where Do We Go From Here,” and after two years of anticipation, Ghana’s music scene has been counting down to this moment.
The announcement itself came with real theatre attached. KiDi unveiled the project through a creative video featuring sheep sounds in a dark field, which immediately caught fans off guard. He also paired it with a heartfelt caption marking ten years of hits, memories, and timeless moments with his audience. Also, promotional visuals showing him in a leather jacket have kept the #WDWGFH hashtag trending steadily since the reveal.
This isn’t KiDi’s first time delivering an Album of the Year. His previous project “The Golden Boy” already earned that recognition at the Ghana Music Awards, and he has picked up consecutive wins in that category since. But “Where Do We Go From Here” carries different weight. It arrives as a decade marker, a reflection point after ten years of building one of Ghana’s most consistent Afrobeats and highlife careers.
Tracks like “Special Lovin,” “Lonely” featuring AratheJay, “Crucified” featuring Kwesi Arthur, “IDK” featuring Sarkodie, and “Signature” featuring Lasmid have already started surfacing individually, giving fans a preview of the album’s range before the full body of work lands. Also, regional and international features are expected to be revealed in the coming days, which should widen the project’s reach even further.
KiDi built his name on “Odo” in 2017 and expanded that reputation globally with “Touch It” in 2021, blending highlife with R&B and dancehall throughout his catalogue. “Where Do We Go From Here” feels like the natural next chapter in that ongoing story.
