Tanzanian worship ensemble Neema Gospel Choir lifts up a live Swahili record titled “Nakutegemea Bwana.” The title means “I Depend on You, Lord.”

This group sings from Dar es Salaam, and its members come from the Africa Inland Church Tanzania. Its message leans on Psalm 121, so the focus is trust in hard times. Biggy Ronny, the group leader, composed the song.

Fredrick Japhet Kilago, known as Masanja, handled the audio for Victorious Production. Because it’s a live setting, the sound feels open and full. Nothing fights the voices, so the worship stays clear.

Lead voices open softly, and the choir rises behind them. Their harmonies stay tight, even as the volume grows. As a result, the song moves from quiet need to open praise.

The words admit weakness and lean on God as a place of shelter. They say they can’t make it alone, and they ask Him to hold their hand. Meanwhile, they promise to walk with Him and live for Him alone.

This one works because the message is plain and the voices mean it. Although the topic is heavy, the mood ends hopeful.
