Multitalented singer Tega Boi DC concludes his three-track EP “SOL” with “FRA,” a speedy Progrex finish of just over two minutes.

The song is the shortest way to end a project that already stays compact. Progrex handled the production, which adds a third producer to the EP’s lineup. “eyes & soul” opens the set, and “Alhamdulillah” with ZerryDL and Rord Kelly sits in the middle with boywithmagic behind the beat. So every song on “SOL” has its own sound, and “FRA” gives the closing slot a different feel.

Short songs suit Tega Boi DC. He works in melodic Afrosounds and mixes singing with the loose, conversational phrasing of Nigerian street music. That style does not need a long runtime to land. A tight two-minute record lets the hook arrive early and leave before it wears out. As a result, listeners can run the whole EP in one quick sitting.

The release also keeps his busy year moving. It follows the two-song “Heart Figures,” and it sits beside his earlier work, including the “Introduction” EP in 2023 and “Grooves and Moves” in 2024. Over that stretch he has grown from a Benin City newcomer into a steady name within the Plutomania camp.

Details on the lyrics have not been shared yet, so the best way in is a direct listen. For fans who like quick, melodic Afrosounds, “FRA” is an easy replay.
