Talented Igbo gospel singer and songwriter Prince Gozie Okeke returns with My Gift, a song tied to a new chapter in his life.
He announced My Gift with a note pointing to Proverbs 18:22, the verse on finding a wife. The announcement also thanked God for a blessing. Wedding-themed images also went up before the release, and he called it a new phase of his life.
Another write-up says the song celebrates his wife and the value of a loving partner. One site calls it a gospel love ballad, though the faith message leads. It is on Spotify and YouTube Music. Ebube (Live) and Nani Jesus (Live) are his other recent recordings.
Okeke is from Nnobi in Anambra State and has lived in Onitsha for years. His hit album Akanchawa lifted his name. My Tears of Joy and A Cry for Mercy are also among his other projects. Many Many and Thanksgiving Worship are named among his hits too.
He is also a songwriter and producer, according to one biography. Omimi came out through GOZMOK Production Int’l Ltd. He once received a Lexus SUV from Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka as a New Year’s gift.
Slow down for My Gift tonight, then tell us in the comments what blessing you are grateful for.
