Nigerian gospel minister EmmaOMG returns with “Gbayin Gbope / Korin Iyin (Medley),” a Yoruba praise medley featuring The OhEmGee Band and The OhEmGee Choir.

If you enjoy Yoruba praise music, this is the kind of recording that gives you room to sing along without rushing through the worship. EmmaOMG brings two familiar expressions of thanksgiving together, keeping the focus on praising God for His goodness and faithfulness.

The title carries a message of gratitude. “Gbayin Gbope” centres on giving God praise and thanksgiving, while “Korin Iyin” encourages believers to lift their voices in worship. EmmaOMG brings both expressions into one extended performance, allowing the praise to develop naturally.

The OhEmGee Band and The OhEmGee Choir play important roles in the recording. Their contributions give the song a fuller sound, with the instruments supporting EmmaOMG’s delivery and the choir adding a congregational feel. Rather than relying on a short chorus, the medley gives listeners time to engage with the different sections.

One interesting detail is that EmmaOMG handled the production, mixing and songwriting. His real name is Emmanuel Edunjobi, and he has continued to build a catalogue around Yoruba gospel music, live praise sessions and indigenous worship.

The new recording runs for 12 minutes and 17 seconds. It was released under OhEmGee Ltd, with the band and choir returning as collaborators on another praise recording.

EmmaOMG has previously released songs such as “Gba’yin Gb’ope” and “Ko’rin Iyin,” both of which connect with the message behind this new medley.
