Nigerian talented recording artist and songwriter EmmaOMG has dropped a new song titled “Mo Gbekele Didara Re” featuring The OhEmGee Choir.
That number matters because of what it says about the format. EmmaOMG doesn’t chase studio polish with The OhEmGee Choir. These live sessions, recorded in front of an actual congregation, have become the platform’s real engine – the same setup that produced “Jesu Oba Alade” and “O Ti Mu Wa Ye,” Yoruba worship songs that spread through TikTok gospel accounts almost entirely by word of mouth.
The title translates roughly to “gather in His goodness,” a phrase built for call-and-response rather than passive listening. Because the choir carries so much of the arrangement, the song leans on layered voices instead of instrumentation to build its weight, the same technique that made “Mo Ti F’aye Mi Ru’bo” function less like a track and more like an altar call people happened to record.
What separates EmmaOMG’s catalog from studio-polished contemporary gospel is the room noise you can hear underneath everything – the congregation breathing between lines, the choir catching each other’s cues live. “Mo Gbekele Didara Re” keeps that same unfiltered texture intact.
