Nigerian rapper and producer 6UFF pushes further into his raw hip-hop identity with “IRON ORE II,” a compact four-track EP that plays as the direct sequel to his earlier “IRON ORE” project.
Released through The Iron Facility and The Orban Company under an exclusive license to ONErpm, the project opens with “The Truth,” bringing in producer and artist Telz for the lead-off collaboration. So “6UFF IRON ORE II” doesn’t waste time building toward guest features. It gets there immediately, then follows with “Ripper’s Fate” alongside rising rapper Tuff King, who goes by The Black Sheep.
“Excellent” sits as the lone solo cut on the tracklist, giving 6UFF a moment to carry a full record without a counterpart sharing the space. But the EP closes on its biggest name. “Turbulent Fellow” brings in Penthauze Music boss Phyno, an established Igbo rap heavyweight whose presence gives the project real crossover weight among Nigerian hip-hop listeners.
Four songs, three features, one consistent voice throughout – that’s the entire pitch behind “IRON ORE II.” Gritty Afro-hip-hop production and straight-to-the-point rap performances carry the whole runtime, keeping the project concentrated rather than stretched thin.
