Asake delivers “M$NEY,” a 13-track, 35-minute album about hustle, gratitude, and success, with DJ Snake, Tiakola, and Kabza De Small.
The project is his fourth studio album and his first since “Lungu Boy” in 2024. It arrives four years after the debut “Mr Money With The Vibe,” so the name closes a loop. He first announced it as “Money” in 2025, then changed the spelling and unveiled a marble-themed look this year. It is also his first full release on his own Giran Republic label with EMPIRE, which gives the title an extra layer of meaning. The songs lean on his Mr Money persona and explore wealth, faith, and spiritual gratitude.
The tracks run short and sharp. “Intro” lasts just 26 seconds, and most songs sit between two and a half and three and a half minutes. “WORSHIP” with DJ Snake led the rollout, and “WHY LOVE,” the first single under his new label, sits in the middle at 3:30. Guests stay few. Tiakola joins on “BADMAN GANGSTA,” Kabza De Small appears on “Asambe,” and the rest of the album is all Asake. Streaming stats name “Forgiveness” as the most popular track so far.
The sound blends his Fuji-inspired style with Afrobeats and Amapiano touches. That mix lets the album move quickly from prayer-like songs to street-level boasts. Reviewers from The Native to Pitchfork have already weighed in, which shows how closely the world watches him.
For fans who like their Afrobeats compact and confident, this is an easy album to play from start to finish.
