Nigerian street-pop figure Mr Real returns with “Real Movement,” a six-track EP that lands as his most consistent body of work in years .
The project clocks in around sixteen minutes, so it moves quickly without dragging at any point .
The release follows July’s “Put In Work” single, which marked his return to a steadier schedule . Bredah produced that single, and he returns here on “Ogbologbo,” creating a direct link between both 2026 releases . Boombeatz also earns two credits on the project, handling “More Than Enough” and “Onaba 2.0” . Meanwhile, Elveezbeatz contributes his only beat on “Movement” .
“Onaba 2.0” stands as the most collaborative moment here. It brings DennyB and DanDizzy into the mix, expanding an idea Mr Real first introduced in 2025 . DennyB carries his Afropop background into the track, while DanDizzy adds rap energy . That three-way pairing gives the EP a different texture from his solo cuts.
Mr Real built his name during the Shaku Shaku era with “Legbegbe,” and that street-pop foundation still shapes his sound . However, “Real Movement” shows he is willing to adjust the formula without abandoning what got him here.
