Nigerian street-pop act Mr Real teams up with Sugarbana on “Check Clear,” a confident cut from his “Real Movement” EP .
The track arrived on September 24, 2026, and it lands as one of the few collaborations on the six-song project .
This pairing carries history behind it. Mr Real previously appeared alongside Smangori on Sugarbana’s 2024 record “WINNER,” so the two already know how to share a studio space . Now the roles reverse, with Sugarbana stepping into Mr Real’s project for the second meeting between their catalogues .
Production on “Check Clear” comes from badass, marking his only credit on the “Real Movement” EP . That separates the record from the Bredah, Boombeatz, and Elveezbeatz-produced material surrounding it. The song centers on confidence and everyday experiences, with both artists bringing their distinct vocal styles to the table .
What makes this release worth checking is how it fits Mr Real’s selective approach to features. Instead of filling the EP with guests, he keeps collaborations limited, so each appearance carries more weight . “Check Clear” benefits from that restraint because the focus stays on the chemistry rather than crowding the track.
