South African Amapiano duo TxC has released the Nakupenda: I Love You Summer Pack EP on July 9, 2026, extending the life of their viral cross-continental hit “Nakupenda” into a full remix project featuring Scotts Maphuma, Shoday, Davido, Zlatan, and Al Xapo.
The concept behind this project is smarter than it first appears. Rather than releasing a new single and moving on, TxC handed their biggest record to a selection of different producers and let each one rebuild it from the ground up. The result is a project where the vocal performances stay consistent but the sonic world around them shifts completely with every track. That kind of creative strategy rewards both casual listeners and die-hard fans equally.
TxC have been here before. They debuted with A Fierce Piano EP in 2022, performed at the FIFA World Cup, and sold out shows across 22 countries – so they understand how to build momentum on an international scale. The Summer Pack is an extension of that same thinking. “Nakupenda” already proved it could travel. This project is designed to make sure it stays everywhere through the rest of 2026.
