South African Amapiano producer UNLIMITED SOUL expands one of the year’s most celebrated projects with “Collision Of 2 Worlds (Deluxe),” dropping via Limitless Rekords with a 22-track double disc that digs deeper into his atmospheric production world.
The original “Collision Of 2 Worlds” already earned its reputation. So the deluxe treatment is not a cash grab – it is a genuine extension. New previewed tracks like “The Truth” with Nevrr49, “Fomo” with Navaro, and “Stance” with CLOUDY SA and Major T all suggest UNLIMITED SOUL went back into the sessions with a clear vision rather than just appending leftovers. Because the difference between a strong deluxe edition and a lazy one always comes down to whether the new material serves the original project’s identity – and everything previewed here does.
Disc One carries the deep log drums and soulful melodies the original fanbase already connected with. But Disc Two pushes into new sonic territory. “This Is Bounce,” “Kinda Weird” with Sami, and the CO2W collaborations “Take My Hand” and “Timeless” add range without disrupting the project’s overall character. The “Pressure (Intro)” with Djy Fresh also gives Disc Two its own clear entry point rather than feeling like a continuation of Disc One.
The collaborator spread is also worth noting. Daiza, Musical Jazz, Nello Guitar, Gontse Swartz, Jimmy Curtis, and Captain Lulaz all bring distinct textures across the runtime.
Yet UNLIMITED SOUL’s production aesthetic holds everything together – immersive, layered, and built for proper listening rather than background noise.
