Nigerian act Balloranking returns with a hopeful new record titled “Better.” The one-word title promises a brighter outlook.
Songs about getting better always connect, because everyone is chasing growth in something. The theme works in love, money and mindset, so listeners can read their own story into it. Besides, a short title is easy to remember and easy to share.
The beat stays smooth and bright, with crisp drums, a rounded bassline and shimmering keys. A light guitar loop adds colour, so the groove feels fresh. As a result, the production suits both quiet drives and lively gatherings. Meanwhile, a positive mood keeps the writing from sounding preachy.
Overall, “Better” works as an encouraging record with a clean sound. It keeps the idea simple, so the message sticks. Fans of feel-good Afrobeats will want it on their playlists.
