Chaba 009 pulls together Mapanch BmB, Panthera, K Doo, and FeDOo on “Mchapakazi,” a five-voice Bongo Flava collaboration released July 17, 2026.
Chaba 009 and Mapanch BmB have crossed paths before on “Party” and “Unaifilii” back in 2024. Also, K Doo previously appeared alongside Chaba 009 on “The Baba Mkubwa Show” series. So this isn’t a random gathering of names. Several of these artists already know how to share space without stepping on each other.
“Mchapakazi” translates to “a hardworking person” in Swahili, and that energy runs through the record naturally. Five different voices contributing means the song needs real structure to avoid becoming chaotic. But the group manages the balance well, each artist stepping in and out without disrupting the overall flow.
Tanzania’s hip-hop and Bongo Flava scenes keep producing collaborative records that feel more like group efforts than just stacked feature lists. “Mchapakazi” falls firmly in that category.
