Cheque links up with Colombian singer Goyo on “GOODBYE II,” a fresh collab pulled from his “YAZI” album this year.

The original “Goodbye” was already an emotional standout on the project, produced by Fizzybeat and SB, sitting with nearly 50,000 plays on Audiomack alone. So bringing Goyo in for a second version makes sense when you consider what she adds. Goyo has built her entire reputation on layered, soulful vocals that carry emotional weight without needing to shout, and that quality fits perfectly alongside what Cheque was already building.

The cross-cultural pairing is genuinely interesting too. A Nigerian Afropop artist and a Colombian singer known for her roots in Afro-Latin music finding common ground on a heartbreak record says a lot about where African and Latin sounds are heading globally right now.

Cheque sounds just as sincere on “GOODBYE II” as he did on the original, while Goyo adds a warmth and texture that pushes the record into a slightly different emotional space. Together, they make the sentiment feel bigger than either one could have carried alone.
