De Niakeyz pulls together Tribby Wadi Bhozza, Mckay Johnson and KayyKayy Production for a packed new single called “Salamina.”
Four names on one record again, production credit and all. KayyKayy Production being listed as a feature rather than just a producer credit says something, they’re clearly hands-on here. De Niakeyz leads the charge, but this feels collaborative from the ground up.
Beat leans into a fuller, layered sound, KayyKayy Production stacking percussion elements without letting things get cluttered. Some traditional touches poke through under what’s mostly a modern arrangement. Balance between old and new, doesn’t lean too hard either direction.
De Niakeyz opens with steady confidence, setting the tone before the others arrive. Nothing rushed about how he approaches his section. Gives the track room to build properly instead of front-loading all the energy.
Tribby Wadi Bhozza and Mckay Johnson split the middle, each adding their own flavor without crowding De Niakeyz’s lead. Different textures stacking on each other, same way the production layers things. Four contributors, one cohesive record, which isn’t always a given with this many names attached.
“Salamina” works because everyone stays in their assigned lane despite the crowded credits. De Niakeyz built the frame, the rest filled it in. Nothing here feels like an afterthought.
