Multi-talented UK DJ Target steps out with his debut solo single “Bring You Flowers,” featuring Tiwa Savage and Chip.

The song reworks Sweet Female Attitude’s UK garage classic “Flowers,” so it carries a strong dose of nostalgia. Target adds a contemporary twist, and the result blends old London dance energy with Afrobeats polish. It is also the first taste of his debut solo album, which is due in 2027. Target said he had wanted to return to production and release music for a few years, and this record marks that return.

His background explains the weight. Target helped shape British music through his early work with Pay As U Go Cartel and Roll Deep, and he spent years as a BBC Radio 1Xtra voice. So a garage reworking feels like a full-circle moment, not a trend chase.

The sound stays warm and easy. Keyboards glow, guitar plucks add a soft edge, and snappy shakers keep the rhythm light. A solid kick drum plays over a flowing bassline. So the groove swings without crowding the voices. Tiwa Savage brings her silky tone and a sing-along chorus about love, while grime icon Chip adds sharp flows and smart wordplay. The themes cover love, loyalty, and good friends.

An official video came with the single, and early trending lists show it spreading fast. Fans of both UK garage and Afrobeats get a bridge on one beat.
