Tema-based Ghanaian rapper Essumann pulls Medikal and Lalid onto “Big Bricks II,” and this remix already crossed a million plays on Audiomack.

Swatty Beat handles production with tight drums and a low rolling bass giving the record its backbone. Essumann opens things off measured, letting the beat breathe before he even properly settles into his flow. That patience pays off – he sets the tone for progress and resilience without rushing to prove anything in the first sixteen bars.

Medikal then steps in and lifts the whole energy up. His punchy, familiar style hits exactly where you’d expect from an award-winning rapper who knows how to walk onto someone else’s record and still leave a mark. He doesn’t try to outshine Essumann – he adds weight to what’s already there.

Lalid rounds it off with a smoother touch, giving the hook and the transitions that melodic edge the record needed to breathe between the two harder rap performances. Because a track built entirely on aggression from three different rappers can wear thin fast – Lalid’s contribution keeps “Big Bricks II” from becoming one-note.

This is the second time Lalid has featured on an Essumann “Big Bricks” record, following the original “Big Bricks” earlier in the run. So the chemistry here isn’t new – it’s proven. And with Essumann now working independently and pushing his sound beyond his existing base, this remix landing millions of plays says his instincts are paying off.
