Zambian rap duo HD Empire link with hip-hop heavyweight Chef 187 on “Nilisa,” a motivational record released September 19, 2026.
The track speaks directly to anyone grinding hard and still waiting for their breakthrough to show.
Veteran presence Chef 187 lends to the record adding weight to a message that already has emotional depth. It is a song that captures that raw moment of when someone keeps asking when the blessings will finally arrive so the theme feels honest and not preachy. It is centered on perseverance, faith and the patience to keep pushing when results lag behind effort.
Sam Kapita handled audio production, while Dir. Brown directed the official 4K video. The duo wrote the track alongside Christopher Mwango Jr, so the writing carries a personal texture that matches the subject matter. Paul Sakahudu also shares writing credit on the record.
“Nilisa” works because it does not pretend the struggle is easy. Instead, it sits with that frustration and turns it into something listeners can hold onto. The motivational angle lands naturally, so the record avoids sounding like a lecture.
