Hidden Bway is back with another drop, keeping his momentum going with “Khadija,” a Tanzanian track that landed in early November.
It comes just weeks after “Mkipostiana,” a Bongo Flava and Afro-R&B cut where he looked at how couples flex their relationships online. Clearly, he isn’t taking long breaks between releases.
The title “Khadija” is a familiar name in Swahili music, though the exact story behind this specific song isn’t fully out there yet. What we do know is that Hidden Bway, born Abduli Jumanne, stays true to his style. He has built his catalog on romantic storytelling and everyday social observations. Earlier records like “Nampenda” leaned heavily on Swahili poetry and warm, melodic production, and “Khadija” fits right into that same lane. He isn’t trying to switch up the formula.
This release adds to a busy stretch for him, following other 2026 drops like “Mfungo” with Hajra Kidot and “Nimelogwa.” Each track just adds another piece to his Bongo Flava puzzle. “Khadija” slots in comfortably as another solid entry rather than a massive career pivot.
Take a listen to “Khadija” and let me know if it earns a spot in your rotation.
