South African vocalist JayJayy links up with W4DE, Mdeshkayro and Slyzza Rsa on a lively new record titled “Spenda,” track three off her joint EP “2SPIN.” The song lands right in the middle of the project’s birthday celebration energy.

JayJayy dropped this EP alongside W4DE to mark her 21st birthday, and that celebratory spirit runs through every corner of “Spenda.” Her rise in Amapiano has moved fast since her Soweto beginnings. Bringing Mdeshkayro and Slyzza Rsa into the fold only adds more personality to an already busy collaboration.

The production leans heavily on deep basslines and punchy percussion, giving the track its danceable foundation. Layered melodic textures sit comfortably over the rhythm section. Because four different contributors shape the sound, the instrumental keeps shifting just enough to stay engaging.

JayJayy leads the record with her signature vocal presence, confident and clearly comfortable in the pocket. Her delivery carries the same versatility that has defined her breakout year. She sets the tone early, and the rest of the collaboration builds around that energy.

W4DE and Mdeshkayro round things out with production choices that keep the groove moving without cluttering the arrangement. Together, the four artists trade energy rather than compete for space.

As one of the standout cuts on “2SPIN,” “Spenda” works because everyone involved commits fully to the party mood. The chemistry across four contributors never feels crowded. It plays like a genuine group effort built for one big celebration.
