The song arrived on October 30, 2026, through Sire Records and Warner Records. It is one of four additions that stretch the album from 12 tracks to 16, and it sits at track 15. The other new songs are “Keep Going,” “Back to Lagos” with Gunna, and “Holy Ghost Fire,” a reworking produced with Lekaa Beats.

Both artists announced the collaboration on social media before release, which built a lot of curiosity. Nigeria and France do not often share a track like this, so fans noticed the pairing early.

Tiakola brings real weight to the link. He came up in La Courneuve with the group 4Keus, then went solo and released his debut album “Mélo.” French listeners have shown a strong appetite for Afro-tinged melodic music, and his style sits naturally beside Omah Lay’s voice.

The song switches between English, Nigerian Pidgin, and French. Lekaa Beats and Rance produced it, and a repeated money-themed refrain ties the sections together. Omah Lay keeps his playful, brooding tone, while Tiakola adds a French verse that gives the record another colour.

For Omah Lay, “TAKE” extends his reach into the French-speaking market without changing his sound.
