Joyous Celebration has been one of South Africa’s most decorated gospel groups since Mthunzi Namba, Jabu Hlongwane and Lindelani Mkhize founded them in 1994. Thirty years into their ministry, their catalogue includes 15 South African Music Awards, two Metro FM Music Awards, and a double platinum certification on their ninth volume. “Wenzile” fits naturally into a legacy built on Zulu-language praise music that crosses denominational and generational lines.
