Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Kaestyle brings Daviid Hart onto “Differently,” track 14 on his fifteen-song debut album “Stylish.”
By this point in the tracklist, Kaestyle has already worked through his own themes solo. So “Kaestyle Differently” arrives as one of the album’s collaborative moments, this time pairing his melodic style with Daviid Hart’s complementary voice. Their two sounds sit together comfortably, neither one overpowering the other. That balance matters on a project this dense with features, since “Stylish” also brings in Duncan Mighty, eLDee, Ajebo Hustlers and M3lon across its other tracks.
Kaestyle’s writing throughout the album leans into protecting his peace, staying open to love despite past hurt, and holding onto his own identity even when outside noise gets loud. “Differently” fits right into that thread. His catchy phrasing and sticky hooks turn what could be a fairly personal reflection into something that feels universal, the kind of song regular people can actually see themselves in.
Coming this deep into a fifteen-track project, “Differently” holds its own without needing to reinvent what came before it.
