Amapiano duo Kammu Dee and Loony Q keep the momentum going on “Ufuna Bak’bone,” bringing Ftears into the fold.
Kammu Dee has quietly become one of the more consistent names in South Africa’s Amapiano scene, always finding new voices to collaborate with. Loony Q matches that consistency through production choices that never feel recycled. Ftears rounds things out here, adding his own reputation for energetic, detail-heavy instrumentals.
The bass sits firm underneath the mix, giving the whole record a grounded feel. Crisp percussion and rolling log drums build the groove from the first few seconds. Every element feels placed with intention rather than added for filler.
Three producers on one track could easily get crowded, but that doesn’t happen here. Instead, each contributor’s fingerprint shows without stepping on the others. That restraint says a lot about how well this trio understands the genre.
