Kel-P follows “Teach Me” with the mesmerizing and captivating”Confessions,” which will blow your mind away.
Confessions, no ambiguity in that title either. Feels like a direct continuation of the humility he opened up on last time. Whatever he’s admitting to here, he’s not hiding behind the producer role this round.
Instrumental stays close to “Teach Me’s” template, soft and restrained, though there’s a slightly heavier low end here. Kel-P’s production instincts still show even while he’s the one singing. Nothing distracts from whatever’s actually being confessed.
His voice carries more weight this time, less openly humble, more like someone actually working through guilt or regret. Doesn’t reach for drama though, keeps the delivery grounded. That control makes the confession land harder than if he’d oversung it. Feels intentional, keeping some things private even while opening up.
“Confessions” pairs naturally with “Teach Me,” both tracks showing a different, more exposed side of Kel-P. He’s stepped out from behind the boards for something real. Two songs in, and it’s working.
