Khalil Harrison brings in Mellow & Sleazy, LeeMcKrazy, Optimist Music ZA, Ch’cco, Ceeka RSA and Fakewell for a stacked new record titled “Mthangala.” Seven guests on one track make this a full-on amapiano summit.
Khalil Harrison, born Mxolisi Nkosi in Nkomazi, Mpumalanga, grew under Tyler ICU’s Baby Blue Entertainment. His single “Jealousy” even earned a co-sign from Chris Brown.
He also released “Uzwile Bathini” and the joint album “SkeemSam” with LeeMcKrazy in 2025. So he and LeeMcKrazy already move like a unit.
Mellow & Sleazy add serious Pretoria weight. Their “Kokotela” earned Gold certification, and they’ve worked with almost everyone on this lineup before.
So this record leans on real chemistry. Ch’cco, Ceeka RSA, Optimist Music ZA and Fakewell then widen the sound even further.
Expect deep log drums, soulful keys and a bassline that rolls without rushing. Each guest can step in, lift the energy and hand the mic to the next voice.
Khalil Harrison holds the centre with his melodic tone. The guests then trade turns, and the groove keeps climbing.
Overall, “Mthangala” plays like a loud, communal amapiano celebration built for the dance floor. It’s rich, rhythmic and made for repeat plays.
