Nkulee501, Tots SA, and Theodesoul all show up for “Late,” crafted by the amazingly talented Lowbass Djy
Nine tracks deep, and Theodesoul returns here after first appearing on “Impilo” earlier in the run. Bringing in Nkulee501 and Tots SA alongside him pushes this closer to an all-star finish than anything before it.
The bassline runs heavy again, closer to “Side Of Bass” in weight, but the log drum here carries more bounce underneath it. Percussion stays layered throughout, giving all three artists enough texture to work with at once.
Nkulee501 opens with a smooth, seasoned tone, the kind of steady presence his catalog is known for. Tots SA follows with something slightly rougher, and Theodesoul closes it out, familiar by now after his earlier appearance.
Nothing here feels rushed despite the crowd involved, each voice getting its own clear moment before handing off. It plays like a proper send-off rather than just another collab.
Nine records deep, and “Late” brings this whole run full circle with its biggest lineup yet.
