Amapiano producer ShakaMan YKTV brings in Lowbass Djy, Royal MusiQ, Ag’zo and Djy Mash SA for a heavy new record titled “Xigubu.” Five names on one track promise serious weight.
ShakaMan YKTV already works with this circle. He linked up with Lowbass Djy on “Shutdown,” so that chemistry carries over.
Royal MusiQ also brings credentials. He appears on “Hamba No Choppa” alongside 031CHOPPA, DBN Gogo and Djy Biza.
The title reads like the Xitsonga word for drum. So expect percussion to lead the way and set the whole mood.
The beat likely hits hard and early. Deep log drums and a rolling bassline can carry the groove while each guest adds a different layer.
ShakaMan YKTV sets the pace as the host of the record. The features then trade turns, and the energy climbs with every entry.
Overall, “Xigubu” plays like a loud, drum-driven amapiano statement built for the dance floor. It’s heavy, rhythmic and made for repeat plays.
