Ghanaian artist Maextro TR is back with another solo release as he drops “Comsi Comsa,” his latest 2026 single now available on all major platforms.
Maextro TR has been quietly putting together one of the more interesting catalogues to come out of Ghana’s emerging Afrobeats space. His 2024 EP “IS IT WORTH IT?” introduced him to a wider audience. It also featured “Journey,” a collaboration with Larruso that showed his range early. Since then he has been consistent. Records like “Yensei Da,” “Heavy,” “Fear,” and “No Love” have all followed without long gaps between them. So “Comsi Comsa” is not a sudden return. It is the next step in an already moving run.
The title carries a French expression meaning “so-so” or “neither here nor there.” But the production direction on “Maextro TR Comsi Comsa” leans far more decisive than the phrase suggests. While many artists in this lane chase the same sounds, Maextro TR keeps threading his own identity through each release.
He also previously appeared on the “Accra to London” series alongside AB Himself and Jay Cee, building his cross-border appeal alongside collaborators who share his creative direction.
