Mayonnaise Cebisa, the sensational Nigerian musician and recording artist drops thsi exciting banger named BAFUNA WENA Ft. BUHLE XULU
The title translates roughly to “they want you” in isiZulu, which already signals something about desire, demand, or attention being pulled toward someone.
Expect the production to lean into that familiar South African amapiano or soulful dance foundation, warm keys, steady percussion, a groove built for connection rather than confrontation.
Mayonnaise Cebisa probably leads with confident, expressive vocals here, matching a title that’s essentially about being wanted. Buhle Xulu comes in to add a second perspective, rounding out the record’s emotional pull.
Given the theme, expect lyrics centered on attraction, desirability, or navigating attention from multiple directions. That kind of subject tends to carry real personal weight.
By the end, “BAFUNA WENA” plays like a confident, culturally rooted record built around desire and recognition. Warm, assured, easy to connect with.
