The beat leans into that fast, driving Singeli energy Mkojani’s known for. Rich Mavoko doesn’t usually work in that lane, he’s more Bongo Flava and Afropop by trade. So hearing him adapt to this pace is part of what makes the pairing interesting.
Mkojani carries the rhythm the way he always does, quick and relentless, no real breathing room. Rich Mavoko slows his delivery just enough to fit without losing the song’s momentum. He’s clearly working to meet Mkojani halfway rather than the other way around.
