On “Don’t Say Bye”, the fourth track on “Something To Die For”, oSHAMO and Shiloh Yodellé refuse to bid farewell.

The song comes from their six-track joint EP, and the title says exactly what it wants. It is about holding on to someone instead of accepting a farewell, with love, attachment, and the wish to keep a connection alive at the centre. oSHAMO even teased it earlier as track four of the incoming project and asked fans how it sounded. So the response was part of the buildup.

Mylz Spectrum and Tonesfyre produced it, and the pair set a measured Afrobeats pace of around 100 beats per minute. The track runs two minutes and 57 seconds, so it stays focused. oSHAMO has built his name on Fuji-influenced Afrofusion and energetic street-style performances, but this record shows a softer, romantic side. Shiloh Yodellé then answers with her own vocals, and the exchange feels like a real conversation.

The partnership has grown steadily. “Stars Misaligned” and “For Your Tears” came first, and both explored vulnerable moments in relationships. “Mon Bebe” and “Till Infinity” also sit on the EP, so the project works as one extended love story. Turning separate singles into a full EP shows how strong the chemistry has become.

For fans of Afrobeats duets, this one gives a clear picture of why the pair keep returning to each other. It also shows how a short, tender record can carry a lot of feeling.
