Zambian gospel and Afropop artist Ozone Africa drops a new solo record titled “Morning.” He’s been one of Zambia’s more active voices in the faith-based music space, and this release adds to a catalogue that already includes “Mulimu Waka,” “Sinimachitila Dala,” and the Jemax collaboration “Kaya.”
Ozone Africa operates out of Olijaba Entertainment and has built a following through a consistent run of releases that blend Zambian musical sensibility with gospel themes. His sound sits comfortably between devotional music and contemporary Afropop, and that blend is part of why his catalogue travels as well as it does across the Zambian music scene. “Morning” leans into that same lane.
It’s the kind of record that works as a daily affirmation as much as a musical experience, which is exactly where Ozone Africa’s strength lies.
“Morning” is a natural addition to Ozone Africa’s devotional catalogue.
