Zambian singer Prince Luv and Malawian star Driemo reunite on “On My Way,” a romantic three-minute Afro-pop single.
The two worked together before on “Pali Iwe,” a 2023 song from Prince Luv’s “Melodies” album. This new record continues that cross-border link between Zambia and Malawi. Early write-ups describe smooth vocal harmonies over soft African percussion, and the mood stays warm and love-focused. The title promises a journey toward someone, and the song follows that idea with calm, steady energy. At just over three minutes, it never rushes.
Prince Luvila and Shafie Sharif Phiri wrote and composed it. Prince Luv Entertainment released it, and Africori handles the distribution, which should help the song reach beyond both home countries. Streaming platforms tag it as Afro-Beat, so the groove leans lively even while the lyrics stay tender. That mix makes it easy to play at home or on the road.
Driemo has become a familiar guest in the Zambian music scene. He also appears on Boy Kay’s “Be Mine,” so his name often shows up beside Zambian artists. Prince Luv, meanwhile, has built a wide network of collaborators, including Yo Maps, Dizmo, Drifta Trek, T-Sean, and Chile One Mr Zambia, all of whom appear in his label’s credits. A new link-up with Driemo keeps that network growing.
For fans of melodic, romantic music from Southern Africa, this is an easy single to add. It also works as a love song to send when you are on the way to someone.
Drive with “On My Way” tonight and tell us – who are you on your way to see?
