Beat bounces somewhere between street-pop and a looser, almost chant-like rhythm, percussion doing the heavy lifting while melody stays minimal. Feels a little unhinged in the best way honestly. Nothing about the production plays it safe.
Shayn Youngstar rides this with a mix of humor and genuine hook, half-joking about being spelled, half not. His delivery’s got personality, doesn’t take itself too seriously even while making the point. That looseness is exactly what sells the concept.
Berri Tiga shows up and does what he does, that same unpredictable energy fans already know him for. Doesn’t clash with Shayn Youngstar’s tone, actually fits right in. Two artists comfortable being a little weird together.
“Idan” isn’t trying to be a deep record, and it knows that. Shayn Youngstar and Berri Tiga built something fun around getting caught up in somebody’s spell. Works exactly because it doesn’t overthink itself.
