Ugandan artist Sqoop Larma drops a fresh Afrobeats single called “Temutuloga,” and it has been gaining attention across East Africa since it landed.
Sqoop Larma has been one of Uganda’s more active voices in 2026. “Nebilungi Byogere” already showed he knows how to write songs that travel beyond his immediate audience, picking up serious TikTok traction earlier this year. Also, “Akadde” followed shortly after, keeping his momentum going without any long gaps between releases.
“Temutuloga” sits in that same upbeat, infectious space his best releases tend to occupy. Dance challenges and lyric edits have already been spreading across social media since the song dropped, which is usually the clearest sign that a hook has landed the way it was supposed to. Also, his Afrobeats delivery stays natural and energetic throughout without feeling rushed.
Few Ugandan artists have built this kind of consistent streaming presence in such a short time. But Sqoop Larma keeps showing why he belongs in that conversation.
